Our organically crafted Scotch pine essential oil is steam distilled from the needles and twigs of the Scotch pine tree growing wild in the forests of Hungary.

The lovely green needles and rich brown twigs of the Pinus sylvestris conifer create a fresh, piney, woodsy, warm, slightly balsamic essential oil.

Aromatic characteristics

• The odor of Scots pine oil is characteristic for this representative of woody and a bit more multifaceted and complex, with unusual tints.
• Deep, fresh and strong, the aroma of pine cannot be called cold, it is only slightly cool, with spicy upper nuances and absolutely resinous base with bitter tints.
• It is rather difficult to choose an additional odor for such a strong and deep smell, because the pine tends to drown and interrupt other flavors.
• A worthy batch of Scots pine essential oil can be well combined with no less strong and complex oils: Eucalyptus, Clove stem, Frankincense Serrata, Rosemary, Cedarwood Atlas, Tea Tree, Cassia, Niaouli and Lavender.
• In aroma compositions, Cedarwood Atlas and Blood Orange, Incense, Petitgrain, Patchouli, Ylang-Ylang and Litsea Cubeba will slightly add to the odor of Pine.

Dosage

Recommended concentration of Scots pine essential oil:

• 4-5 drops in aroma diffusers;
• 2 -3 drops for personal aroma pendants;
• 2-3 drops for sauna and 4 - 6 drops for aromatic baths;
• 5-6 drops for massage;
• for cosmetic products: 1-3 drops of essential oil per 5 g of product

Important: essential oils are highly concentrated vegetable essences, so they require dilution with carrier vegetable oils.
