Bergamot essential oil Organic

Our Organic bergamot essential oil is cold pressed from the fresh rinds of this citrus fruit grown in orchards lining parts of the southern Italian coast.

The green rinds of Citrus bergamia fruits create a sweet, lemony, herbaceous essential oil.

This essential oil is incredibly uplifting and can help diffuse feelings of anger or frustration.

This is one of the best oils when looking to support a good night’s rest and/or help manage situational anxiety naturally.

The sweet, rich, balsamic-spicy nature of bergamot essential oil creates a festive, vibrant mood.

Cosmetic properties

• This aromatic oil effectively copes with pigmentation and pore enlargement.
• By regulating the balance and oily skin, bergamot essential oil has an effective refreshing, tonic effect.
• Bergamot oil is also used for dandruff and brittle hair.
• Bergamot essential oil belongs to the group of photosensitive oils, so it is not recommended to apply it on open skin in the summer.
• Caution it should be used by pregnant women and those with sensitive skin.
• When carrying out a test for an allergic reaction, it should be borne in mind that when applied in the first 5 minutes, bergamot oil always causes redness and burning.
• You can add from the standard 5 drops of aromatic oil to a more saturated dosage of 15 drops in the aroma lamp.
• For aroma pendants, 5 drops of bergamot oil can be used.
• For all procedures that involve direct contact with the skin, an increased concentration of bergamot essential oil is undesirable.
• In aromatic baths, hot compresses and steam baths (for deep cleansing of the skin of the face), you can add up to 5 drops of aromatic oil (start with 1 drop for the first procedure, gradually increasing the dose).
• To improve the nutritional and tonic properties of cosmetics, add 1 to 3 drops of aromatic oil for every 10 ml of the product.

Important: essential oils are highly concentrated vegetable essences, so they require dilution with carrier vegetable oils.
