Our organic cajeput essential oil is steam distilled from the wildcrafted leaves and needles of the cajeput tree, also known as the weeping paperbark tree, growing in the jungles of Vietnam.
The aromatic leaves and twigs of the Melaleuca leucadendron cajuputi tree create a fresh, fruity, sweet, herbaceous, camphor-like essential oil.
Cajeput essential oil is distilled from the leaves and twigs of a tree in the Melaleuca family.
Emotionally and energetically, cajeput essential oil clears and uplifts.
This essential oil encourages mental clarity by clearing the mind and improving levels of concentration.
Complementary flavors for Cajeput essential oil are not easy to pick up: the oils with which it is combined can be listed literally on the fingers.
In particular, Petitgrain, Ylang-Ylang, Palmarosa, Carnation and Lavender will be an excellent addition to Cajeput in aromatic blends.
Use in cosmetology
Cajeput oil is also used in the field of hair care: it is one of the most powerful aroma therapeutic agents for dandruff.
In the domestic sphere, Cajeput essential oil is one of the best means to repel insects (especially when traveling to tropical countries), as well as an excellent oil to relieve the effects of their bites.
Cajeput essential oil improves the characteristics of cosmetics and can be used as a perfume additive for cosmetic and perfumery products.
Important: essential oils are highly concentrated vegetable essences, so they require dilution with carrier vegetable oils.
